Sometimes that happens, I guess, though I didn't really notice it until you pointed it out. I'll have to think about why that happens and look out for it in the future. Thanks!Ludantohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13811006647122170606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4635168163607781418.post-74911388405075077262020-09-01T04:22:20.262-07:002020-09-01T04:22:20.262-07:00The system seems to have some weird quirks, but so...The system seems to have some weird quirks, but somehow it seems to work. Though I kind of missed the more action packed scenes and adventure from last time. Anyway, thanks for sharing this. It would take quite a few "sessions" to come to a meaningful conclusion, but it's also a shame to just stop in the middle. In all likelihood, I'll do one or two more and then wander off to do something else.
Cosmic Patrol is on the list, although I am fascinated by the prospect that the tight framing of Remember Tomorrow might provide. So many options.
Or, maybe I should just play a Planet28 tabletop minis battle instead. :DLudantohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13811006647122170606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4635168163607781418.post-52178181001249082452020-07-28T04:21:38.711-07:002020-07-28T04:21:38.711-07:00Hello Jason,

A few days ago actually but life is busy so taken me this long to comment. I found using Mythic too open ended, which is why I ended up using Two Hour Wargames Larger than Life as a framework as at least it gave an overarching story....but then I realised a lot of choice is taken away (meaningful or not!). Ah well.

I got Cosmic Patrol when it first came out (2011. Wow) but have not thought of using it. Just looking through it now the missions would work really well for any game engine by providing just that little bit of a framework to drive some choices. So if you do think about running something again and are thinking of Cosmic Patrol, you have one vote from me :-)Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.com
